Just got done selling it to a local bookstore…It’s brief aquarium in the setup dept. and the fish description is jumbled together with a mish mash of pics that don’t pertain to the listed fish! If you want a half way decent fish description book it’s ok but when it comes to aquarium setup and operation pass on this one….the Dakin book and Fenner book are still the best!

if your looking for an a to z aquarium setup book its not the right one, its a good species book to learn about our marine fish friends, but again not a dictionary of photos, loaded with a lot of pics but not every species has a pic. For those who want to lear a little more about aquarium keeping but arent looking for a step by step guide and would also like to learn more about a ton of species of fish, its a solid book. Combine it with J.C. Delbeck and J. Sprung “The Reef Aquarium Volume 3” and i dont think youll need another book.
