The bottle also comes with a hook to be able to attach to a bag (hiking or other) and it works very well. It holds the weight of the bottle and liquid without coming unhooked from my purse. The cap on the bottle seals up tight, even when I turned it upside down no liquids came out so I am confident saying this is leak proof. If you have a child in sports this is great to give them while they are being active to keep them well hydrated. No need to worry about them breaking the bottle since it is silicone – it is great! The two color choices is fun for kids to know which one is theirs for game day.
The bottle is easy to clean with a bottle cleaner tool and a little soap and water. I do recommend this for anyone who is outdoors often, *hiking, fishing, exploring, daily walks, sports* very practical and rolls back up to store away in seconds when all done using!
