“Food Fest!” announces the re-launch of the “Food Fest Guide” website, an online community for Florida foodies interested in food festivals and other food-related events across the state. Event organizers, promoters, vendors, and attendees will find lots of new features you don’t want to miss out on:
Event organizers and promoters can now add events to the calendar themselves
There’s a new interactive map featuring upcoming events for attendees or vendors wishing to find events nearby or in a specific city
There are forums to discuss particular events, and for vendors to lend and receive advice
The new vendor directory provides vendors free publicity, and gives event organizers a list of vendors to solicit for their events
Users can now subscribe to an RSS feed of upcoming festivals and events
Users can request email notifications for new or upcoming events
Besides the new additions, the annual event calendar has been upgraded to display both a list view and calendar view, and the festival details include the date, location, contact information, and scheduled activities. The “Food Fest!” website is a great resource for planning weekend getaways, spontaneous day trips, or “staycations.”
