Check Out the Latest in Recreational Equipment at the Great Northwoods Sport Show at Lake of the Torches Resort Casino

Lac du Flambeau, Wis. (Vocus) March 4, 2009

Browse one of the largest regional gatherings of sporting goods and outdoor recreation vendors with the Great Northwoods Sport Show on Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22, in the Hall of Nations Convention Center. The show is free and open to all ages.

Here’s your opportunity to see the latest models of RVs, campers, boats, and all-terrain vehicles at what will be the largest sport show in the Northwoods. In addition, browse a large selection of fishing equipment, archery supplies, and camping equipment. Representatives from resorts and campgrounds from across the region will be on hand for those planning a summer or fall getaway.

“Lake of the Torches is proud to host the biggest free admission outdoor sports show in the Northwoods,” said Michael J. Broderick, Director of Marketing at Lake of the Torches. “This will be a true family event with all ages welcome and a must see for anyone who loves the outdoors.”

Exhibitors will include: Angler Choice, Chicaugon Lake Inn, Custom Covers and Awnings, Earth Sense Energy Systems, North Country Sport Marine, Rohr’s Wilderness Tours, Indian Shores RV and Kosir’s Rapid Rafts along with many more.

As an added bonus, first 200 guests on Saturday will receive a free Chuck Woolery Signature Moto-Minnow Fishing Lure. The well-known host of the game show “Love Connection” and renowned fishing expert was recently performing at Lake of the Torches and was impressed by the spectacular environment available to fishermen in the area. He felt his Moto-minnow lure would be the perfect tool for any fisherman trying to land that trophy Northwoods Lunker this summer.

All ages are welcome to attend. A kids’ activity area will be set up that will include an archery range sponsored by Bader’s Sport Center (children attending the show must be accompanied by an adult). The sport show will be open from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday.
