Beyond Brickell

Miami is getting really tall! Brickell in particular. In fact, construction for the largest mixed-use development in Florida is occurring right now in Brickell, the financial district of Miami. Our office is located just blocks away from what will be Brickell City Centre, smack dag in the middle of all the Brickell activity. Mary Brickell Village will soon become small-time when Brickell City Centre launches its mall, condominiums, hotels, and 50 or so new restaurants.
This shot of Brickell was captured looking toward the east, with Biscayne Bay, Port Miami, Miami Beach, and Atlantic Ocean in the background. While producing a project for Borges & Associates on the rooftop of Avenue on Brickell (located at 1060 Brickell Ave), I took that opportunity to capture everything I could, looking in every direction. This was one of three images that I published outside the project, just for fun.
See those people down there playing tennis on the roof of the parking garage? What a crazy view they have every time they lace up their sneakers and hit the court.
