During the week of May 13-19, Clearwater Beach will host the 3rd Annual Clearwater Beach Restaurant Week, which is expected to host the biggest turnout to date. Clearwater Beach Restaurant Week is more than a celebration of Clearwater Beachs food scene; it gives restaurants a much-needed boost during a time when business often slows.
The restaurants economic impact is felt by the many businesses that provide goods and services to Clearwater Beachs vital restaurant industry. Clearwater Beach Restaurant Week also helps local non-profit organizations. Last year, $ 17,000 was raised for the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
Restaurant Week helps the local businesses by attracting more diners to spend the night eating on the beach instead of at home, said Darlene Kole, President and CEO of the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce. We appreciate our sponsors for helping make this event possible.
In addition to the mouthwatering cuisine, there will be a Kick-Off Party, on May 11, beer & wine sales, two stages featuring live music, an opportunity to buy raffle tickets for a number of value-packed gift baskets, and a fireworks display at dusk. Tickets to the Kick-Off party are $ 20 per person entry fee, which will grant access to more than 40 participating restaurant’s tents that will line Beach Walk, each featuring tasty samples from their menu. An optional wine tasting wrist band can be purchased for an additional $ 10.00.
