Gulfport’s annual 4th of July Celebration will offer an entire day of flag-waving fun for all ages on Thursday, July 4th, including kid’s activities, live music, food and craft vendors, a parade, and a world-class fireworks display. All activities and entertainment take place between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM in Gulfport’s scenic Waterfront District near 3129 Beach Blvd. S., Gulfport, FL 33707. Monthly Madness on Mad Beach and BIKERSCAP present the Mad Beach Bike Fest…Because we care. Madeira Beach revs up for its inaugural Mad Beach Bike Fest on Sunday, August 18, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Madeira Way. Bike enthusiasts will be showing off their classic, antique, new and customized motorcycles from all eras. Food vendors will be on hand and others offering bike-related gear. Peruse the local restaurants and shops of the Madeira Way district during the show. Proceeds will benefit BIKERSCAP, a 501(c)3 organization, who provide much needed complete home computer systems through recycling older used systems to disadvantaged children. Activities will include chance drawings, a bikini bike wash and 10 class people’s choice awards. There is no admission charge for this biker-friendly event. The 13th Annual Geckofest will take over Gulfport’s scenic waterfront village on Saturday, August 31st, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. along Beach and Shore Boulevards. This quirky family friendly street festival has become one of Tampa Bay’s most anticipated annual celebrations. Combining the artistic energy of Gulfport with the colorful flair of Mardi Gras, Geckofest includes live music on three stages, over 200 art, craft and food vendors, children’s activities, street performers and costumed characters. A costume contest and parade, a thrilling fire and acrobatics show, and the famous street dance round out a fun-filled day for the whole family.
