    I’m planning the family getaway for 2014, and skiing is one of our options. Although there are plenty of websites offering amazing advice, it does tend to be biased towards packages the site itself is offering – so that’s why I started looking for independent guides to ski resorts. Michelle’s guide fits the bill perfectly, and doesn’t just concentrate on US and Canadian resorts, as other books do. To a skiing novice such as myself, every bit of advice is gladly received, and there is plenty in here – everything from where to eat, where to stay, what to wear, who to teach you and how to book your ski trip is detailed in here.
