Are You Gonna Go My Way? (Explored)

From looking at previous photos of the “Hitchhiking Ghosts” of Walt Disney World’s “The Haunted Mansion”, I would say these are new and improved animatronics. You can definitely see some differences in their faces and also (can’t tell by this picture) but their animation seems improved. I’m not entirely sure but I think they may have brightened up the scene a touch though. Still took an ISO of 21400 at f/2.8 and shutter speed of 1/30. Yeah, still pretty darn dark. I’ve never been able to get a lock on these guys with auto focus, so manual focus was definitely key here. And I don’t seem to have manual focus down very well on the dark rides, so I kind of got lucky here on the focus. And yes, quite a bit of noise reduction / detail smear here to get rid of some of the noise.
Also new in the scene are some props – a picture on the left, a suitcase and a hobo nap sack.

Flight to Bokeh

Thanks to EddyMixx for allowing me to borrow this incredible 24mm f/1.4 nikkor lens to shoot with. Little did I know that it was worth two grand, but man, it made some nice pictures.
As for the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights, WOW what a sight to see. Like others have said, photographs don’t do this show justice. I got but a handful of keepers from here, this one probably being my favorite. The show is well lit, so a relatively fast lens will do the trick. This was shot at f/1.4 with a shutter speed of 1/50, at ISO 200. So yeah, it’s bright!
