   Really quite unhappy with the way they are making these now. I have been using the rental receipts by Adams for well over a decade now. My original ones came with a sturdy enough sheet of cardboard to place in between each page as not to ruin the other copies when writing a receipt. With this one that Adams is now making, they want you to rip the front cover completely OFF the receipt book and use that! That is ridiculous and infuriating. Why would I want to rip the cover of the book off? The cover protects the book that keeps my receipts inside of it- without the cover my receipts get messed up. Come on people! Also, what they want you to use now is much more flimsier than what they offered before. Not really happy with their not too bright ideas here. Nice that they cut back on packaging, but they cut back on the quality of the product as customer satisfaction. I don’t think I’ll be buying another one unless they are going to start making them more sensibly.

   I’m using this to record rental income I receive for a room in my house. My one complaint is the lack of a cardboard divider. They expect you to rip the cover off and use that, which works, but obviously leaves the pages open to spills and deterioration. Still, not a bad product for quick rent receipts and income tracking.

   In an age where there’s an app for everything you need (and plenty for things you don’t) sometimes good old fashioned paper is still the best method. I have renters and they prefer this as do I for keeping track of payments made. You can scan and digitize your copies if you wish but a customer will always want a paper receipt, especially for a rent check.
