A Dolphin Truth
These animals are to be in the open waters, free and happy. Not to be kept
in tanks and swim round and round and jump for our joy! Put them in a
natural open sea pen where their lives would be improved. More importantly
neither orca, dolphin nor any other animal should ever be taken from its
natural habitat. As a matter of fact they should live out their lives in
with their family groups.They certainly deserve better.Thank you for making
this documentary.

Dr. Maddalena Bearzi, OCS President, was recently interviewed for this
short documentary about dolphins in captivity at the Clearwater Marine
Aquarium and behind the scenes of the “Dolphin Tale” movies. The film shows
the dolphin Winter in captivity and interviews with scientists and experts,
including Dr. Naomi Rose, Dr. Lori Marino, and Richard O’Barry. This is
something the public needs to know (and share) before going to see these
movies…

The tagline on the posters is “Winter’s story now has HOPE”… how sad that
is. Her story has no Hope and life is even more hopeless for Hope, the
“rescued” calf she doomed to captivity simply by existing. But no one would
buy a cute plush or be inspired by a dead, deformed dolphin…

How can humans, so called “teach” a dolphin how to live, fetch it’s food,
to swim..? Come on, it’s pure abuse of the animal to get money.
