This is the late dolphin Panama at 40 years of age the Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s oldest dolphin that is widely recognized as the adopted mother of Dolphin Tale movie star Winter. She passed on the 25th of September 2013, last year, presumably from old age, but the exact cause is unknown.

With the release of "Dolphin Tale 2" tomorrow the 12th of September I scoured my hard drive and found some images of "Winter" the dolphin before she became a famous movie star at her home in the Clearwater Marine Aquarium here in Florida
