hi. i went to clearwater in feb this year.. we only stayed for 2 nights to
relax and then spent the rest of our time near the theme parks of orlando.
we stayed in one of the cheapest hotels called the travelodge it was right
on the beach. it was amazing for the value, if you ask for a beach view u
will have to pay more but its worth it.i was very suprised with the hotel
the room was very big and had all the amenities you need. all of the beach
is white. if you want more info contact! x
Love Clearwater Beach. Went to Pier 60 a little over 2 years ago. There was
something that surprised me though– there were two women there (one when I
arrived and one when I left) doing crack or some kind of drug right there
out in the open! Like, near the kids area! I hope that’s not still a
problem, and I know police are in the area every so often, so maybe it’s
less of an issue now.
thanks for the tips … we actually stayed at Sirata on St. Pete Beach the
last time we came down… great place in a great spot, but when we tried to
book this year, the price almost DOUBLED!!!! So they lost our biz ness this
time. But we love St. Pete Beach also… we’ll look up John’s Pass and
Filthy Phil’s the next time we’re down… 🙂
Love Clearwater Beach…you should see the other ones around here. I grew
up up here….you really wanna get it right….get a boat!

My family and i go there every july for vacation since like the early 80’s.
I LOVE it there, my favorite place to be!! The area has changed A LOT
though and its sad.
i am going there August 6 2009! i soo cant wait!! im staying at the Hilton
Beach Resort for like 142$(cdn) a night or something. its like only 20
minutes away from the international plaza so i REALLY wanna go there!

Yeah, it’s a really awesome place. You can tell that it’s moving from small
quaint beach motels to hi-rise mega buildings though…so yeah, you’re
losing something over time. But it’s still a great place to vacation. They
were rebuilding Gulf BLVD when we were there. I think it’ll be really nice
when it’s done.
my audio choice was NUKED on this video so I had to replace it …wasn’t my
original choice..lol … but at least the video is still up 🙂
over the summer was my third time staying in clearwater for vacation. i
wish i could live there. pier 60 is the funnest place to go at night, and
those bungee things are really tiring but they are soooooo fun!. all the
hotels are near the beach too. it was amazing.

i took my mom to the airport, and packed to go Clearwater Beach on the way
home. It was full! NO parking anywhere. So we went to Sand Key. I plan to
make a video, and I wanted to check out other people first. It was a
stunningly beautiful day, and beautiful Clearwater was at its best. I keep
seeing those commercials about the clean beaches on the Gulf. I could do a
better job! They sound so desperate. They should just go out with a camera
and record what I saw, and stop whining.
Clearwater is okay…. i live on the beach, when you live here its nothing
special 🙂
